Florence Series

The Florence Series depicts a particular location in Florence where three streets diverge from a single point. This location was interesting to me because of its metaphorical ties to diverging paths leading out from one point in time in one’s life. The collages employing images of each street are presented with a line of images that chronicle a stream that starts in the hills above Florence that moves through the city and merges with the Arno to continue to the sea.
